Move Over GM, Here Comes Government Climate Control

An article that just came out in Time Magazine says we're going to do a little "geoengineering" to help slow global warming. Well, sure why not? The government has done such a bang-up job with the economy, why not add climate control to their to-do list? Never been done before you say? Oh pshaw! I'm sure they'll be able to work it in right after they bomb the moon in October to look for WATER VAPOR! Here's an example of one of their brilliant ideas..."One way to turn down the thermostat would be to spread sulfur particles into the atmosphere, either through artillery or with airplanes, thickening the air enough so that it would bounce some sunlight back." WHAT? SULFUR PARTICLES????!!!!! They are screaming about the CO2, but Sulfur is O.K., eh? And don't EVEN get me started on the chemtrails....

    In case you hadn't realised, the economy which failed, is private. It is not government run.

    Ahhh, you are so right inscrutable one, however, the private companies also run the government. Are you saying government policies have no affect on the economy?

    no - but I am saying that on one hand you insist the private sector should run your healthcare, and on the other hand you say the private sector did terribly in looking after the economy.

    If the private sector can't even run banking and the economy, why do you think it can run healthcare?

    And again, if you insist the private sector runs the government - and does a bad job of it - why do you want the private sector to run your healthcare?

    I want the government out of the private sector and the private sector (Federal Reserve) out of the government. I want the government to be involved in less rather than more, therefore my choice would have to be the private sector running healthcare and me running my own health by doing the right things to keep my body healthy.

    But if the government gets into the Fed, that's MORE government.

    And if you accept the private sector can't run banking, why are you so confident it can run healthcare?

    Surely banking and the economy would be more likely arenas for private industry to succeed than healthcare - and yet you assert the failed at it.

    First of all, one of the few basic powers that the government SHOULD have is over the Federal Reserve. The Fed should not be posing as a government entity when it is private. That's what I mean't when I said the private sector needs to get out of government.
    Tell me your opinion on how you think this should all work out, I'm interested.
