The Tiny Dot

This brilliant video by Larken Rose is so pure in it's simplicity. It shows the power that We The People would have if we would ALL stand up and be counted. The big question for me is what is the next step after we ignore "The Tiny Dot"?
Here is the creator of this video explaining it. The Tiny Dot Explained

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!
Here is just another example of the lack of transparency in the Obama administration. A San Francisco Chronicle reporter, Carla Marinucci, videoed protesters at the Democratic National Convention singing their request of "We paid our dues, where's our Change?", after which the White House communications office threatened retaliation and subsequently lied about the threat. Per the Chronicle: "White House communications office who told us they would remove our reporter, then threatened retaliation to Chronicle and Hearst reporters if we reported on the ban, and then recanted to say our reporter might not be removed after all."

I didn't realize transparency was only supposed to be used when it suited the President. Where's Joe Wilson when we need him?

Holy Thursday and Obama Traffic

Holy Thursday is the day that Christ celebrated the Last Supper with His disciples, four days after His triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

What better way to celebrate this day than to be stuck in another traffic jam caused by Obama's need for political donations. So what if traffic is so backed up you can't get to your place of worship. Obama needs re-election funds. Don't be offended though, Christians, lest you be called racists.

Brown Nosing RepubsTurn Me Independent

Brown-nosing Republicans Bill Berryhill, Katcho Achadjian, Anthony Cannella, Paul Cook and Tom Berryhill have pushed me over the edge this April 15th. Here they are having a special fundraiser for themselves and cozing up with the Geezener. These are the 5 outcast Republican legislators who could possible side with Jerry Brown and vote to put taxes on the ballot. I guess they don't remember we voted taxes down ALREADY. So to mark this occasion, on this day, April 15, 2011, I am separating myself from the Republican party by filling out a new voter registration card as an American Independent.

The Disconnect: Public Employees and The Public

Much has been written and said on this issue, and others have said it more skillfully than I could. See the post Union Thugs at, one of my recent favorite blogs. Growing up, my view of unions have been mostly positive due to reading books like the The Jungle by Upton Sinclair about the horrific conditions of the meat-packing industry in the early 20th century. Then as a working adult I was a union member for a very short time in the private sector. A short time because I realized then that the union and the company were working hand in hand to feather their nests at the expense of the union member.  When private companies suffer the collective bargaining of the unions, if too many concessions are demanded, the private company goes out of business and the workers are out of a job. Not so with public employee unions. There really isn't any bargaining involved at all. The public unions, to whom the politicians are deeply indebted to, merely tell the legislators their demands and they are granted. The legislators have no need to bargain, as it is not their own money that is being spent. They merely return to the source (the taxpayer) and tell them they have to raise taxes or else schools will be closed, houses will burn and violence will take over the streets. This is exactly the tact that Gov. Brown of my state of California will take if the Republican legislators in Sacramento renege on their pledges to not raise or assist in raising taxes and a tax bill gets on the ballot. Barrels and barrels of money will flow from the public employee unions to pay for ads intended to scare the sheeple into extending the taxes that were voted down previously. And because taxpayers dare to raise their voices and demand their taxes get spent more judiciously instead of being continually asked for more, they are disrespected and held in contempt by legislators throughout this country.

It's Not Hate Speech If You Are Liberal

I suppose liberals really can't help themselves. They seem to think that they are the guardians of all that is good and true. And in their minds the end result really does justify the means. That's why when they depict a gun pointing at Sarah Palin or a beheaded George Bush it's okey dokey. I mean it must be since MSNBC promotes haters on their network. What ever happened to journalism for God's sake? Facts people, just facts. I guess we are just too stupid since they spin the stories for us instead of letting us make up our own minds.

Focus on Fluoride Not CO2

Just reviewed a great video from Brasscheck TV of an interview with Christopher Bryson, author of The Fluoride Deception. It is just amazing that Dr. Harold Carpenter Hodge, who helped choreograph human radiation experiments on unsuspecting and uninformed patients, was also a fluoride "researcher" who promoted adding fluoride to the water supply. Another bad actor was Dr. Robert Kehoe. He reassured citizens and scientists that adding industrial fluoride to the water supply was safe. The fact that he also defended the safety of adding lead to gasoline is rather worrisome.

Being reassured by Hodge and Kehoe is like being told by Josef Mengle that anesthesia is not required for surgery. Remember those old commercials where doctors promoted smoking? How about "DDT being Good For Me". Or when some of America's leading corporations got together and put lead, a known poison, into gasoline, for profit. Meanwhile, heroic doctors and researchers who found and published the truth about the dangers of fluoride had their reputations ruined. Some of these include:
  • Dr. George L. Waldbott - first to warn of the fatal allergic reaction to penicillin and first to warn of the dangers of emphysema due to smoking, was smeared by the Public Health Service for his opposition of fluoride.
  • Dr. William Marcus - a toxicologist who was fired for his opposition to fluoride.
  • Dr. Phyllis Mullenix - invented a new technology to study neurotoxicity of chemicals which found fluoride caused effects similar to attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity basically reducing the I.Q. of children. She was an industry funded, leading toxicologist at a Harvard affiliated research institute who was fired after her study was accepted for publication. She has been offered no academic research position since her objection to fluoride was made public.
I am hitting just a few of the high points. A more in depth article on this issue is How A Toxic Poison ended Up In Our Water by Chris Wark at his blog Chris beat cancer. He does an excellent job and gives suggestions on how to avoid fluoride.

Final point: 98% of Europe rejects water fluoridation, while only 24% of U.S. water supplies are NOT fluoridated.
